As a Business Analyst, you have that rare ability to bridge two worlds – the human and the technical. You can draw out complex ideas from stakeholders and help them figure out what they truly need. You excel in process and workflow management and are hands-on in improving efficiency via automation. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
  • Understand market needs and translate into product features and integration functionality
  • Use a structured approach to capture requirements by working with other team members in a highly dynamic environment
  • Work with internal business units to identify, validate, and document business objectives through workshops, interviews and market research
    • Defining scope of a need
    • Develop a business case
    • Define and document Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with business users
    • Consolidate multiple perspectives to deliver unique recommendations
  • Aid in the translation of business requirements to technology and operational requirements
    • Assessing capability gaps and organizational readiness
    • Capture and prioritize requirements
    • Manage requirements traceability
    • Create business process flows, use cases, user stories, test cases
  • Maintain a high-level of product knowledge
  • Ability to influence others without having to invoke direct authority
  • Desire to lead, promote internal growth, and develop others
  • Your role is one of a cross-functional nature and as such, you will be expected to work with product managers, product designers, engineering leads, and operations staff.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • 5+ years of business analyst experience preferably in a software context
  • Knowledgeable in technology: computer science or engineering degree is a plus
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA…) and agile development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
  • Experience with projects in requirements management
  • Experience with web related technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consulting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize between key deliverables
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently

Preferred Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Good team player. You’ll be part of the Ardius family and this is important for us
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
